How much misery do we create in the world
By overthinking the wrong things
And underthinking the right ones.
As I type this, I note that the spell-check function
In the text editor
Recognizes "overthinking" as a word, but not "underthinking".
So confident are we that the problem is always thinking too much
And never not thinking enough.
I have a thinking feeling about this.
How about overfeeling and underfeeling?
It looks like those both earn a "not-a-word" flag.
So the computers are confident that no matter how much we are feeling,
It is always exactly the right amount, tautologically.
If only we were taught to logic instead.
